System requirements describe what a computer needs for the game to start and run on it.

Windows XP, 7 and 8.1 are not supported, and there is no 32-bit version.

  • Windows: On Windows 8.1 and older the game does not start: it needs a system library that only Windows 10 has.
  • Linux: Your graphics card and its driver must support OpenGL 3.2.
  • Internet: The game needs a connection all the time, as every battle is played on our server. After the installation it also downloads its content (several hundred megabytes) and later every update.
  • Disk space: Keep room for that content besides the download itself.

We don't name a minimum processor, amount of memory or graphics card. Whether the game runs smoothly depends above all on the graphics settings.

If the game runs slowly

In the settings you can choose a lower Quality Level (down to Minimum), switch on Half Resolution or switch off effects such as Ambient Occlusion. If a quality level is likely to be too much for your computer, the game warns you in red. Laptops with two graphics cards should start the game on the more powerful one; on Linux the menu entry the game creates does that by itself.

How to download and install the game is explained in Getting started, the downloads themselves are on the download page.
