Crashes
We are talking about a crash when the game suddenly closes and/or shows an error screen. Crashes produce error logs that can help identify the cause of the crash or find a solution on this page. Get crash logs.
First steps to resolve crashes on your own
- If it's a crash on startup, try running the game as an administrator.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure your drivers are up to date.
Required resources are corrupted or missing
Starting the game as an administrator once should fix this issue.
Connection issues
Warning!
Access is often blocked for people living in Russia and other censorships. You may need to use a VPN to access the game.
Maintenance
The game may be temporarily unavailable due to a server restart or maintenance. In most cases this takes less than 5 minutes. If you keep the game open, it will automatically reconnect once the maintenance is over. If the maintenance takes drastically longer, please reach out to us.
No connection to server
This issue can be caused by a number of factors. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:
- Check your internet connection.
- Restart your router.
- Restart your computer.
- Try connecting to a different network.
- Try using a VPN.
Lags and freezes
Try the following steps:
- Check your internet connection.
- Restart your network connection.
- Restart the game.
- Make sure no other programs or devices are heavily using your network.
macOS
“ReviveTanki is damaged and can’t be opened”
Revive Tanki is not signed with an Apple developer certificate, so macOS blocks it after the download.
- Drag ReviveTanki from the downloaded ReviveTanki.dmg into the Applications folder.
- Open the Terminal app (press ⌘ + Space, type “Terminal”, press Enter).
- Paste the following line, press Enter and start the game afterwards:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ReviveTanki.appTerminal answers “Permission denied”
Run the same line with sudo in front and enter your Mac password when asked. Nothing is shown while you type.
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ReviveTanki.appThe app is in a different folder or was renamed
Replace /Applications/ReviveTanki.app with the actual location. The easiest way is to type the command up to quarantine followed by a space, and then drag the app from Finder into the Terminal window.
