Tanki X on Steam

The game is not listed on Steam anymore, so you can't add it to your library if you haven't done so before. However, there are two workarounds to play the game using Steam:

Option 1: Make the original store entry work

If you ever added Tanki X to your Steam library, you can still download and play it with a small workaround. This method allows you to use the original Steam entry for Tanki X and lets you show up in the Steam player count statistics.

1. Download the game client from Steam
2. If you haven't done so already, download and install the Revive Tanki client from our Download page.
3. Open the installation folder of the Revive Tanki client.
4. Copy the whole folder content and paste it into the Tanki X installation folder from Steam. When asked, replace all files in the destination folder. By default, it is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tanki X.
5. You can now launch the game from Steam. The game will use the Revive Tanki client, but it will still appear in your Steam library as "Tanki X".

Option 2: Add as Non-Steam Game

If you haven't added Tanki X to your Steam library before, you can still play it by adding it as a non-Steam game.

1. Open Steam and go to your Library.
2. Click on "Add a Game" in the bottom left corner.
3. Select "Add a Non-Steam Game" from the menu.
4. Browse for the Revive Tanki client executable and add it.
5. You can now launch the game from your Steam library.
