Interesting Facts
- The first player who received the rank of "Legend" is Legionary. It happened on February 27, 2017, at that time there was not even an icon of this rank, instead, there was an icon of the rank of "Commander" from tanki. Only later, on March 13 of the same year, the rank was added to the game. Video
- The first player who received the rank of "Legend" in Revive Tanki is Miguelazoh. It happened on April 1, 2022. Video
- Until March 21, 2017, each rank in the game required approximately twice as much experience. For example, to get a legend, it was necessary to gain as many as 4 million reputation points.

As you progress through the game, you will receive experience points which will grant you certain ranks. Upon receiving a rank you will be awarded a corresponding insignia, or as they are also called in the army, shoulder straps or boards. Later on, players will also receive crystals and other bonuses (paints, supplies or unique items) for achieving certain ranks. Many of these rewards and bonuses will not be available for purchase, meaning that the only way to get them is through rank progression.
There are 100 main ranks in the game, with a special one as the 101st. The main ones are split into 4 categories, each of them differentiated by a corresponding metal plate/insignia - Steel, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each of these categories is split into 5 subcategories, which are differentiated by the color inside the insignias - Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Crystal. The combination of these elements on an insignia will show how close is a player to the next rank or category.
Methods of Ranking Up
- Killing enemy tanks, either alone or by the assistance of other tankers on your team.
- Capturing or returning flags in CTF mode.
- Healing teammates with Isida
