Reporting a player

See also: Rules

Sometimes players in battles or in the chat break the game rules, on purpose or not. Here is what you can do about it. First make sure the player really breaks the rules: when in doubt, read the rules again.

Reporting in the game

Right-click the player's name, in the battle's score table, the battle lobby, the result screen, your friends list or your squad, and choose Report.

The report goes to our moderators together with the battle and what the player last wrote in its chat. You can report the same player once every half hour.

If you just don't want to read someone's messages any more, choose Block in the same menu.

Reports with proof

We can only act on a violation we can see. For anything the chat does not show (cheats, sabotage, match-fixing), and whenever you have screenshots or videos, send them to us with the player's nickname and a short, factual description. You reach us on our Discord server or by e-mail to [email protected] (see Support).

Chat offenders

  • The screenshot must show the violation itself.
  • Send the full screenshot, not cropped and not edited, in a quality where nicknames and ranks are easy to read.
  • The chat must be fully open on it. If the offender's nickname is cut off, write it in your message.

Cheaters

Record a video of the battle:

  • The offender's nickname must be clearly visible.
  • The video is at least one minute and at most ten minutes long.
  • Nicknames and ranks must be easy to read, and the video must not be edited.

Upload it, for example to YouTube, and send us the link with the important details.

Sabotage and match-fixing

Sabotage is acting, or not acting, on purpose to hinder your own team and help the enemy. Record a video of 5 to 10 minutes and show the battle's statistics as well (the Tab key).

For collusion with players of the enemy team, the video is 5 to 10 minutes long too, and shows the collusion itself: not a single moment but several (for example, a player who does not shoot an enemy, or waits at the enemy base with their flag). The statistics matter here as well. Name every player who took part: that speeds up the decision.

While you record, you must not break the rules yourself: a report about sabotage is judged with every player of the battle, its author included.

Describe what happened as it was, not in the light that suits you best: that only makes the decision take longer. We need proof and the important details.
